Cloud computing and mobile computing are similar in many important aspects. Both the Cloud computing and the mobile computing have to use wireless system to transmit data. But both Cloud computing and mobile computing are different in many other aspects.

About Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is based on Cloud technology network. Cloud computing represents a specific design of latest technologies and services. These technologies and services are factors those allow the data to be transmitted over distributed network, in Cloud computing. This is done through wireless connections. Data is transmitted to a remote location that is generally maintained by a vendor of Cloud computing service.

The Cloud service providers, such as DialWebHosting, serve a huge number of clients. Cloud service providers, such as DialWebHosting, arrange access of data between the local or closed network of the client and the data storage of the Cloud service providers, DialWebHosting. The data storage of DialWebHosting has data backup systems.

This feature allows the vendors to intake data which is sent to them and securely store it in their own storage systems. These vendors deliver their services to their clients through these very carefully maintained connections.

About Mobile Computing

Mobile is a relatively new device. This new device has been launched with emergence of new interfaces. Smart phones and tablets are mobile devices, which are almost equal in functionalities, to a traditional desk top or lap top computer.

Mobile computing functionalities include accessing the internet through the use of browsers. It also makes use of a core operating system for supporting a number of software applications. This core operating system helps in sending and receiving multiple varieties of data.

The mobile operating systems, as an interface, supports users by providing them with intuitive icons. It also provides well known technologies for search operations and offers easy touch screen commands.

The main differences between Cloud computing and Mobile computing

Mobile computing is mainly a consumer facing service. Cloud computing is a hosting technology, that is being used by mainly the business organisations and companies, of various sizes and sectors. There are also individual users of Cloud computing technology. The most advanced and sophisticated Cloud Computing is an enterprise level service and is targeted at large business enterprises.

Different business organisations of various sizes, make use of Cloud computing technology, for processes such as management of supply chain, inventory handling, production control and customer relationship.

The future of Mobile computing technology is better operating systems for smart phones and tablets. Cloud computing technology will have new networking services that will serve many other services.
