There are many applications such as Webalizer, AWStats and more in cPanel that will provide you with statistics that you can update on your dedicated server. Sometimes you should update the logs manually for which you must access your server via SSH.

Login to your dedicated server account via SSH and type the command as follows:

/scripts/runweblogs/USERNAME

You will then have to change the “USERNAME” in the above command the with the actual cPanel username that you wish to update the statistics for. Then you should login to the cPanel of the user that you have updated and you will be able to open and view the latest statistics for your website.

If the traffic to your website is heavy and it consumes a lot of your resources such as CPU and memory, you may find that your web statistics for all the user accounts are not updating and running. You can set a certain server load for your stat programs so that they do not consume the major chunk of your resources and slow the performance of your site.

You can rely on DialWebHosting support team in case you have any questions.
