Most of the providers today allow shared hosting plans to share an SSL certificate. DialWebHosting supports digital certificates in all their shared hosting plans. However, you must have a dedicated IP address in your shared environment. You can contact the sales team for your IP and SSL. All you need to do is log in to your account and click on the “order” and the type of SSL you want. The installation is quick and can be completed within half an hour.

Shared SSL comes as an alternative to the requirement of purchasing an SSL. Though it does not use your domain name and the server host name is used along with the cPanel username to ensure a secure connection.

Google has made it mandatory to make Certificate Transparency for web browsing and flags a website as insecure if it does not have the digital certificate HTTPS with a padlock sign beside it before the domain name on the Chrome web browsing. The padlock symbol is an indication to a visitor that the website is safe to browse and do transactions.
